Day 18, Central Estonia

We had a fairly early start (by our standards πŸ˜‰) and were happy, that the rain had stopped during the evening.

The ride out of Riga was a nightmare – traffic jams and not the most able drivers in the world make for an annoying mix. But thank you to the linesman, once we got to his route close to the city centre, we were on the backroads out of this place.

Since a bit pressed for time (ferry from Tallin on friday), we decided to take asphalt (A1) up the coast into Estonia and then head up the centre to reach the TET just short of Tallin again. A pitty, but we will do more TET in this country next time – when coming back from Scandinavia.

So this will be a short post, not much to tell from the main road – except that it was a pain in the neck – windy like hell, chilly, traffic and shitty drivers.

When looking for a nights restcamp, we were too tired and cold to bother with the tents – so we searched for a place with a sauna and found it – geeat!!!

Avaleht

Some pics anyway …

The only tracks we left today were in front of our log cabin 😁
